Allow myself to introduce…

myself. I am a wife, mother, seamstress, designer, self-proclaimed coffee addict, lover of anything vintage/retro, friend, chick flick watcher, and soon to be homeschooling teacher. Yikes.

My hubby/best friend and I have been married for almost 7 years (our anniversary is next month) and we have 3 crazy boys. Older is 5 1/2, Middle is 4, and Youngest is 2 1/2, and yes, I have my hands full.

Me and my studly guys...

I know life is busy right now, but I decided it wasn’t quite busy enough. I recently started up my own business, selling purses and handbags that I design. My love for fabric, retro design and sewing is finally starting to pay me back a bit. My shop, Hands Full Creations, is still in the early stages, but it has taken off faster than I had originally thought. But more on that later…

In conclusion, I’d really like this blog to be all about, um, me. Me and what I like. As a mother, I don’t get much to myself anymore. My time, my sleep, my food and my thoughts are usually taken over by those I love the most. This blog is my precious ‘my-time’. I can’t wait to discuss things like crafting, cooking, family, and buying handmade with the likes of you awesome bloggers. I’m really looking forward to getting to know all of you!

Hi! Nice to meet you! Thanks for adding me to your blogroll. I added you to mine as well. It sounds like we have a lot in common. Well, except for the coffee – yuck! And I can’t sew. But I love vintage and crafting!

Love your work. I too have 3 kids 10mos, 6, 9…how to do find time to sew with your 2 little ones. I only get naps and late at night if I’m not to tired. You give me inspiration to keep going on my love of sewing with a busy family.
